Most Over Rated Player

Which of the following current players is the most over rated.

Beckham - Decent player no doubt but has never matched the hype. Has been voted 2nd best player in the world, he wasn't even the 2nd best player at Utd.

Lampard - Never seen him do anything against half decent opposition. Its all very well scoring 2 as Chelsea demolish Watford 4-0 at home but when the going gets tough, fat boy goes missing. as good as SG

Totti - Great name, crap haircuts, mediocre player. The Italians love him, everyone else sees him for what he is, a show pony , all style no substance.

Raul - Played 9 million games for real scoring a shed full of goals but have you ever seen him play well.... well have you cause I ain't.

For me its Lampard, once voted 2nd best player in Europe, FFS he's not even as good as his cousin or his dad was. Given a free role by England making SG play the holding role. He plays the free role all right, free to play like a bag of ****e.

Lampard, and by some distance too. Most over-rated player I've ever seen.

Totti and Raul were both great players at some point of their careers, and Beckham, well, never was all that really, but doesn't even come close to Lampard in the over-rated stakes imo.

All Lampard is is a pot-shot merchant, in terms of actual skill and athletic ability he's ****e. He's basically a slightly better version of Danny Murphy.

Has to be the Fatman. All the other players' reputations were at one time deserved. Raul all-time top goalscorer in CL, Beckham dragging England through qualifying campaigns etc.

All I've ever seen Lampard do is mince around in the final third, waiting to shoot on sight whilst real quality players like Essien and Makelele do all the graft behind him. Yeah he gets goals but when you have as many shots as he does he's bound to get a few isnt he.

My vote goes for Rio Ferdinand in the 'Other' column. I can't, for the life of me understand why he's so highly rated. He's a complete liability, yet no one seems to realise it. How many times does he make one of his 'incisive' forward runs, only to lose the ball at the half way line and have to track all the way back?

It nearly cost England a goal against Ecuador at the World Cup, if it wasn't for Ashley Cole blocking the shot.
