Players of the very highest quality. Ibrahimovic has just led Inter to their first Serie A titles in years. He's been an integral part of their side. How can a player who has won league championship medals with 3 teams before the age of 26 be considered over rated?

As for Trezeguet he's a European championship & World cup winner. He's got a cracking goal scoring record in Serie A. He's been unlucky with injuries but when fit he's a cracking player.

If you are looking for over reated players then pick pretty much anyone of the English national team starting XI

i don't get why pele is the most over rated player of all times, surely he is one of the top 3 players ever to have graced this game, his scoring record alone says that, in a league at the time that was amongst the best in the world...

Its got to be Lampard hasn't it?

Whilst we are at it though, how did Phil Neville get 50+ caps for England? There are a serious amount of players with a decent collection of caps when some excellent players have very few. Those should also fall into the overrated category.

As the question stands though, its Lampard. He would look very average in a side without so many defensive players around him.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

How many times does he make one of his 'incisive' forward runs, only to lose the ball at the half way line and have to track all the way back?

It nearly cost England a goal against Ecuador at the World Cup, if it wasn't for Ashley Cole blocking the shot.
Having just read a thread on Paul Ince, Rio reminds me a lot of him...If his talent was as big as ego, he would be Paulo Maldini

i don't think riquelme is up to much - seems to have amazing skill but there's a very frightened look in his eyes all the time. he'll never do it in a big game. the ultimate bottler.

Ferdinand is a good shout, not half the player his ego would suggest.
