Surely more than £5 million?Originally posted by PTP View Postyeah chelsea would have well been working behind the scenes to nab him - prob be £5m tops
i thought he cost Blackburn £7m and he had a great season.
If he's £5 million then we'll have him plus a few quid in return for Bellamy. What have I learned, Mr Mackay? Three things. One - bide your time. Two - keep your nose clean. And three - don't let the *******s grind you down

Do we really need 5 strikers? Assuming Bellamy goes we will still have Crouch, Kuyt, Torres and Voronin.
I can see an argument for an exceptional, creative talent like Tevez but I really fail to see McCarthy adding much to the squad."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

Think it was about £2.5m they paid.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

£2.5 i think it was -if he has gone awol/wants out of blackburn, there isn't much they could do, if (pure speculation) chelsea had tapped him up behind the scenes - all he needs to do is dig his heels, refuse to play and blackburn aren't in a position to turn down £5 mil bid for someone who does'n want to be thereOriginally posted by Gordy Boy View PostSurely more than £5 million?

I thought Blackburn denied the whole story yesterday.Originally posted by AFII View Postaccording to five live. Looks like he is on the way out of Blackburn..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
