    Spurs are minted

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of French Under 21 international Younes Kaboul from Auxerre.

The North London club have not released any details regarding the fee, but previous reports suggest they have paid out £8.2million to capture one of France's brightest prospects.

They really are splashing the cash around.

Hopefully it'll be money well spent for them as it's a lot of money for unknown quantities. Remember Cheyrou & Diao ?

I said a few months ago that many clubs could afford to splash the cash and was when I said it, even more so when I said that Spurs would do it.

Newcastle, West Ham, Man C, Aston Villa, Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool and maybe even Portsmouth can afford to splash the cash.

You just have to splash the cash on the right players.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Clubs are gambling with their new found TV revenue money, backed by very rich owners.

I think Fredo said on the Tevez to Man Yoo thread that we are one of the few clubs not taking a gamble, as the Torres money is probably offset through players sales and prize money.
          We come not to play.
