Premierships best ever finisher from inside the box?

The dirty manc heads at work are adamant it's Solskjaer. Even above RVN. Obviously I think it's Fowler. There's a bit of ambiguity over the word "best" so are there any statto's out there who can give me some hard stats for
    a) Total goals scored from inside the box
    b) Chance / goal conversion rates from inside the box

I realise RVN scored all his goals from inside so the KPI would be point B, I'm after point A just for comparison purposes.

I'd imagine Ferdinand,Cole, Shearer and Owen would all be up around the top too.

Solskjær is good, but not as good as Fowler.
RvN was also very good, as was Cole and Shearer.

I think all those would be in the top 5.
          The order?
No idea, apart from Fowler at the top

Cole was not very good. He needed 3 good chances to put one away. It's just that he got al oad of chances at UTD and previously Newcastle.

The top three are Rushie, Fowler and Shearer in no particular order.

I can't see solskjaer being in the top 5

I'd go for Owen/Les Ferdinand in there instead or maybe Terry Henry although he scored most outside the box.

Fowler and Shearer goin on natural ability, RVN must of scored all his goals inside the box so he must be up there.

                  Premier League?

Rush didn't score that many goals in the Premier league era.

Solskjær is deadly mate, or at least used to be.

Owen and Henry are more counter attackers imo.

Agree that Cole might be too wasteful to be considered.

I remember there was a big fuss when he scored his first goal outside the box. I´ll put him alongside Fowler in his pomp and Shearer.

i would imagine RVN would come out on top.

His stats were ****ing ridiculous for games played and goals scored.

                            .

This is exactly what they are saying. They reckon he's the best finisher inside the box the prem has ever seen. I was quite surprised to hear this, Fowler must have been a better finisher surely

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
