It was, i remember it like yesterday. I came home for lunch(school was 2mins away), my old man told me the news and i went straight to the bathroom to cry my eyes out.
Awful day it was.
"Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

Whats his name again? Dya remember that little period where SSN changed its name to "Sky Sports.com TV" (or something similar), only to change it back a year later? What was all that about?
His name's Dave summat. Does the darts now. He really bugs me. Quite Partridge at times.
SSN was originally launched as Sky Sports.com TV. That was it's first name/branding, but they re-launched it not long after as SSN with the different, blue colour scheme.
*worst, most boring, and dweeby post ever*
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
I hate Jim White. I remember when I was a young lad and he presented Scotsport up in Scotland on a Sunday tea time. Worst highlights show ever!
He's even worse now than he was then but that might be due to the fact that everything on SSN is snsationalised. The channel is basically a tabloid newspaper on TV.

Cheers Shaggs, thanks for clearing that up! You can get back to admiring Ziggy's "bone structure" now (yes, I read it)

Completely agree! thats a great way to describe it! The presenters get hard ons over the least little thing!
A cheating, drink-driving piss-head. From Scotland.
Whatever next.

POLICE were called to an incident involving television sports presenter Jim White yesterday.
It is understood the Sky Sports presenter was involved in a "domestic dispute" with his partner at a house in Pollokshields, Glasgow.
A statement from Strathclyde Police said: "We can confirm that police were called to a house in the Pollokshields area of Glasgow. Advice was given to the parties involved and no further action was taken."
White was on air presenting a Sky Sports programme late on Friday and it is understood that he arrived at the Glasgow house yesterday morning.
White, 45, was divorced from his first wife Fiona in 1995. At the time he blamed the pressure of working in television as a major factor in the break-up.
He went on to marry his long-standing friend Avril Hyndman, also 45 and a mother of two, in February 2001.
The couple celebrated their wedding quietly with only a few close friends at Glasgow’s Malmaison Hotel.
In July 1999, White resigned as STV’s sports anchorman to move to Sky after 19 years at the Glasgow-based station.
He currently presents live coverage of the Tennent’s Scottish Cup and Scotland home internationals, and regularly presents Sky Sports News.
White started his media career with Scottish and Universal Newspapers in 1974.
Five years later he moved into television, where he was a news and current affairs reporter with STV before a move to sport in 1986.
The highlight of his career is said to have been in June 2003 when he travelled to Senegal with Arsenal skipper Patrick Vieira for his Diambers charity.
