    Kia Joorabchian arrested for money-laundering

    CARLOS AGENT SHOCK
    By Lee West 13/07/2007

KIA Joorabchian, the businessman in charge of Carlos Tevez's affairs, was yesterday the subject of an arrest order given by a Brazilian judge.

Joorabchian has been charged with money-laundering and being part of a criminal gang for his role in the partnership between Media Sports Investments (MSI), the London-based sports management company that claims to own the economic rights to Tevez, and Brazilian club Corinthians.

The businessman, who was last night at a dinner at Wembley Stadium hosted by Prime Minister Gordon Brown to celebrate 10 years of government support for sport, chose not to comment on the charges.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was also at the event.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Not that it surprises me he could be involved with some dodgy, underhand ****. Maybe we'll get Mascherano for free!

You can always hope that they will freeze his assets so he can't make any business deals, at least for the next few months.

Well, he hasn't actually been arrested.

There is also a warrant for Boris Berezovsky, alleged to be the financial backer of MSI, as well as for some Iranian businessman linked to the company.

          Guardian report
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Yeah, and that fergiscum is somewhat involved too, and also is subject of an arrest order.
