Give him time, space and plenty of possession and it's fair to say he's one of the best in the world as he's proved in La Liga, in Europe and at International level.

So what on earth is he doing playing for Boca Juniors in the prime of career ?

If he retired tomorrow I would probably only remember him for missing that penalty against Arsenal in the semi finals of the Champions League.

A real talent offensively, got a lovely touch, great feet and overall he's a highly intelligent and skillful footballer.

On the downside he's pretty one-paced and is rather lazy when it comes to the dirty side of the game. A real luxury player, if he had a Robbie Savage and a Momo Sissoko doing all his dirty work he'd be a brilliant addition for any side in the world.

He's only on loan from Villareal, i think he had a bit of a falling out with the staff at Villareal last season and ended up going to Boca on loan for the 2nd half of the season. He'll be on the move this summer, i think Atletico and Everton were rumoured to be interested

A talented player fantastic ability but he hasnt shown all of the talents he has, never made it at the top level unfortunately.

Seems to be a player that is very family orientated and i think that comes before football for him, hence him going back to play in Argentina to be close to his sick mother

Great player with bags of talent but as others have already said he's never quite made at the top level for some reason. I never quite understood why he never got the chance he deserved when he was at Barca.

He has the potential to be as good as somone like Zidane but for some reason he's never really realised that potential.

As Brazil have shown, put a man on him and he disappears. He wouldn't last in the EPL.
