Watched him closely(not in a gay way), feck me what a lazy son of a bitch he is,
he just struts about the forward line, makes little or no effort to track back or ought.
    I detest players like that.

An absolutly awesome player and brilliant to watch on his day but the fact that he doesn,t have pace or the right mentality means he is too easily marked out of games!

Very gifted player, very slow and would be utter crap in the Premier League. Does he lose it on the big stages? I don't know, he was mom in both Copa Libatoras finals. Went missing last night but then so did most of the Argie team, in the semi final against Arsenal he missed a penalty but cause he missed does that mean that the likes of Gerrard, Carragher, Pearce, Baggio are bottlers?
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reminds me of Ariel Ortega in some respects.

apart from that there is nothing similar...

I know Ortega's style of play was completely different, he was all about pace and dribbling ability, two things you definitely wouldn't associate with Riquelme. I just find them similar in they way they both have a remarkable habit of 'ghosting' into good positions with their opposite number nowhere to be seen - an uncanny knack for finding space.

                              .. and flattering to decieve.

I'm inclined to say that picking Veron and Riquelme in the same team for a final is one of the worst managerial decisions I've seen in a while.

Daniel Ortega was OK for a while.
                                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
