I think this one is better though shaggy
Check this hat trick out I would say Rafa was gutted.
    Rivaldo
I remember watching it live, even Graham Hunter I think it was, said he felt privileged to have witnessed that hat trick.
Amazing stuff - especially the last goal.
Did you notice who crossed for Valencia's second?
Just when I discovered the meaning of life, they changed it

I was half thinking he might have been, infact he must have been now that I think of it, Rafa won the league in his first and third seasons at Valencia doh
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

If only we could get a few games out of him, he was starting to look like a decent player before his injury last season.

Remember watching the Rivaldo hat trick live... Chopra's was good but against second rate opposition. The winner from Rivaldo is probably better than Gerrard's against Olympiakos.... Consider this thread hijacked!!!

Sky reporter. "What are you targeting this season, top 10?"

                Richardson. "Champions League!"

He really needs to get a few players in with real premiership experience. I am surprised but he is falling into the trap of buying players who have stood out in the championship - this is well and good for the ****ty teams (the Sheffield Uniteds of this world) who have low ambitions but Sunderland will have significant funds available and their fans will expect more than just survival
At a football club there's a holy trinity- the players the manager and the supporters, Directors dont come into it, they are only there to sign the cheques " - Bill Shankly

                      Has Keane gone mental?

Sunderland have signed Kenwynne Jones for £6m from Southampton.

He's also today brought in Championship journeyman Danny Higginbotham and Ian Harte.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

There's thought to Keane being the new Scum manager and all I have to say is:

I can't wait, it will be a blast.

He has had to pay over the odds for ordinary players, it seems he cant attract the big players there, whether it is the place Sunderland or that players just dont want to join them and end up been in the Championship next season. They wont take that risk of the hassle of trying to find a new club next year

They clearly have the money but are not attractive to the top/near top players
When you feel like you're done, you are not alone........

To think we signed arbeloa for less than Higginbotham who is an average Championship player shows you there are plenty bargains out there.
Keane must have spent 40m by now and does not have one decent player to show for it.Jones at 6m is crazy.Wenger is a genius at getting bargains.

Higginbotham says it all. He really is losing it. If he's looking players that can do a job the likes of Gravensen and Jarosik (sp?) are available from Celtic if you believe reports.
