    So.......Milito completes Barca signing

*******s good signing for them Puyol and Milito that a no nonsense pairing

Would of love if we had got him and not a bad price

    Eurosport-

Argentina centre-half Gabriel Milito has completed his move to Barcelona from Real Zaragoza for a fee that could rise to 20.5 million euros, while Real Madrid and Osasuna have also dipped their toes in the transfer market.

The move of former Blanquillos captain Milito, 26, to Barca was previously discussed openly by both clubs and media. Now he has put pen to paper officially on the move.

"It is a dream for me," Milito said at his Camp Nou unveiling. "Barca are widely considered the best team in the world."

Milito featured for Zaragoza over four seasons after signing from Argentinian club Independiente. He was originally set for a move to Real Madrid in 2003, but the Chamartin club pulled out late due to concerns over a knee ligament injury.

Responding to questions about whether the move to Catalonia represented a form of revenge against Madrid, he said: "No. We have to forget about the past.

"I have always wanted to come here and I hope I can repay the club on the pitch for the confidence they have shown in me."

Ironically the Copa America finalist is set to replace a current victim to a knee ligament knock, club captain Carles Puyol, in the starting line-up at the beginning of the 2007-2008 season
Poor lad how long is he out???

Milito is an excellent defender. I'd have been made up if we'd signed him. He'll be a cracking signing for Barca.

Would rather have Carra n Agger than Puyol and Milito. Agger has the potential to be the best of the quartet.
