What a player this man was...

    in his heyday

"Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."

'Of course I didn't take my wife to see Rochdale as an anniversary present.
      It was her birthday.
Would I have got married during the football season ?
      Anyway, it was Rochdale reserves.'

That is the gayest song ever.
Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

Yeah, that music really is a gay music - If I supported Arsenal and heard this song, I'd die of embarrasement ...

Gay music yes but i loved big pat(as a player), he was such a monster on the pitch, he could tackle, pass, burst forward, run all day long.
He was a class act and one of the greatest players we'll ever see in the English game.

Possibly. However the fact remains that Djimi Traore has more European cup medals than Pat.

That's "champions league winner" Djimi Traore.
                  I think he's earned it!

True but there's no denying Viera was a Premiership Great. Awesome player.

He was probably at his best when Arsenal won the double in 2002.

sorry, was agreeing with you, Arsenal have never quite replaced him, Cesc is a different sort of player, but the momentum Viera brought was different class.

I thought it was pretty catchy...

A do bop, a do bop, a dobey do bop.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

In my mind I could totally hear Jack Nicholson on the stand in A Few Good Men when I read that.

                              Nice.
