I can't help feeling that Arsenal need another experienced player in the team - the obvious places being the wings or left back. I don't think that Lehman or Gallas are good leaders which leaves them with only Gilberto.

Having said that if their attacking players reach anything close to their potential they will be a very good side.

I think alot of people have written arsenal off very foolishly....if they can finish off the chances they create and stop over elaborating they will be there or thereabouts.

Arsenal's first 11 is still a very exciting proposition - they'll be there or thereabouts at the top end of the table.

Looks like the work permit thing was all just the now routine going to appeal malarky.

Still think that Arsenal despite having a good squad would benefit from an experienced head added to the squad.

I agree with Marky, He will be brilliant wouldn't be enough for me if I was an Arsenal fan. At the moment, he is average.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
