Former Everton manager Howard Kendall says he and other Bluenoses fear Goodison Park could be knocked down and used by Liverpool fans as a car-park for the new Anfield.

Kendall is fuming that Everton's plans to build on Stanley Park were thrown out while Liverpool's were approved.

He said: "The disappointment for Everton is that the new Liverpool stadium will actually be even nearer to Goodison Park.

"And the new Goodison might not even be in the city. I'm speaking for all Evertonians here when I say: We don't like it!

"I believe Everton applied first to build on Stanley Park and were turned down. Everton should have been given the go-ahead to build on Stanley Park - that would have been the natural move.

"An Evertonian said to me recently, 'I can see it happening. We go to Kirkby or wherever and Goodison Park is knocked down and then becomes a car-park for Liverpool'.

"For a Blue, that would be the lowest of the low - with the Reds parking there and then walking across Stanley Park to their new stadium."

A fitting end for Goodison and good of the bluenoses to suggest it.

I would suggest having the new car park blessed before putting it to use though, to eliminate the bad karma that exists there.

Surely it would be more fitting to use the space as additional toilet facilities for our new ground?

He he. Failing that, does the ground drain naturally towards Goodison? It could be our septic tank and we wouldn't even have to set foot there.

All we need to do is get Hamster, Clarkson and May to drive that ****ed up Toyota Pickup they've got in the Top Gear studio to Woodison, then knock the ****er down using it.

                        Then have a bonfire.

Everton made an informal enquiry about using the part of stanley park nearest their ****e hole of a ground and rerouting the road.. they were told that planning permission would probably be denied on the grounds that, that part of the park contains all the victorian features that are protected
