Really, all the winning world cup goals should be at the top of that list. How can anything be more important than scoring the winning goal in the final of the biggest tournament in the world?

                      47. Bobby Charlton - Colombia 0 ENGLAND 4, friendly international, 1970

why are these goals so important, why is a lineker goal from a lost game one of the 50 most important goals of all times

and how on earth can a free kick from a qualifier against greece be counted as one of the most important of all times

and a goal from a friendly that was won 4-0, it might have been special but what the **** was so important...

and where is maradona's goals from 86?

and every single winning goal from the world cup or european cup must be more important than:

                      50. Iain Dunn - HUDDERSFIELD TOWN 3 Lincoln City 2, Auto Windscreens Shield, 1994

                      7. Jimmy Glass - CARLISLE 2 Plymouth Argyle 1, Division Three, 1999

Choose the sword, and you will join me. Choose the ball and you join your mother, in death. You don’t understand my words, but you must choose. So… come boy, choose life or death."

"You would've been happier if you'd chosen to join your mother in her world. " - Ogami Itto

Gerrards goal against Milan in Istanbul was more important than Alonsos because it gave the team belief.
What have I learned, Mr Mackay? Three things. One - bide your time. Two - keep your nose clean. And three - don't let the *******s grind you down
