I think Lampard would do well at Barca actually. Not that I don't think that he is limited but the limits he has would fit well with the players at Barca. They would loose guile and creativity but gain a greater goal threat and a harder working player. It would involve a slight change in the way they play but I think it would possibly improve them, at least from last season when they seemed less good than previously. He has very good control and short passing and with the players he would have around him would do a good job IMO.

He probably would score alot with ronaldinho and messi cutting inside and laying the ball off to him while he lurks on the edge of the box munching a burger!Originally posted by dww View PostI think Lampard would do well at Barca actually. I very much disagree but I'd love to see how it panned out.Originally posted by dww View PostI think Lampard would do well at Barca actually. FWIW I realise Lampard is a good player - his record over the last 3 seasons is ****ing astonishing and it can't be a fluke, but I really do believe he's severely limited, so much so that he'd be shown up at Barca even in training. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I dont what to think of Lumpard. In Spain he'd either be horrifically exposed, or would look even better with more time on the ball and less closing down, so he could shoot even more (Is that even possible?) which would lead to him scoring more goals.
All i know is that he is Fat.Javier Mascherano: 'I want to be settled and kill myself on the pitch so the team wins lots of games'

The big fat **** reminds me so much of that other prick who used to get a shed load of goals from midfield but contributed entirely **** all else to a game if not scoring.Originally posted by Cacodemon View PostHopelessly over rated player is Lampard - just has that amazing knack of scoring loads of goals from midfield, sadly.
Only an average to good passer of the ball, can't tackle, isn't fast, and isn't that intelligent on the pitch.
Boat-head himself, David Platt.
