    Ballack and Robben for 40mil

Breaking news on SSN about a good reliable source claiming Real Madrid have offered 40mil for Robben and Ballack. I'd bite their hands off if I was Kenyon/Abrahmovic/Mourinho.

Personally I think back in a 4-3-3 those two will be excellent for Chelsea. Although Robben is such a crock and Ballack a **** that is could be a deal worth doing if they have replacements in mind.

Chelsea were far better before ballack disrupted things last season. They need their 2 wide men. Robben will be a loss but you're talking about 21 mil EUR for ballack which is good business.

Yes but in the central three I think Essien behind Lampard and Ballack would destroy teams with two wide players and Drogba ahead of them. Last season the attempt to put too many central midfielders into the team was at times madness but that doesn't mean with a different system - which Jose says he will be reverting to - there isn't a role for Ballack.

True yeah, I'm forgetting that Makalele is not going to figure much this season.
