i've said it for a few years now, that i think he would have come good for us under benitez, he had great vision and passing ability and read the game very well, he had no confidence at all. it was the same thing that happened to igor, great talents got ****ed under houlier...

i don't agree about cheyrou, but i do think igor would have prospered under a more attack minded and footballing manager for sure.

I remember him having a purple patch of about 3 games against the likes of the Chavs and the Barcodes and scoring winning headers.

i was at that game. We nicked a jammy goal after Chelsea had been killing us all game. Twas also the game were Diouf got sent off for getting his studs caught in Mutu's laces....subsequently tripping Mutu up. Funny as **** that was.

I went with a friend in London, who is a mad Chelsea fan, he took me into a bar after the game for a couple of drinks...it was a hardcore chelsea hooligan pub, i cant believe i got out alive
