    Lampard

    I've just been reading that he wants to postpone any contract talks until the end of the season, when he will have just 12 months left on until the end of his contract.

    I've no time for Lampard or Chelsea, I can't stand either of them but it looks as though Chelsea are going to get stung with this. Lampard is making the same kinda noises that Michael Owen was making during his final season with us. The similarities are there to be seen!

    The end of the season will come and Lampard will delay talks until after Euro 2008 (hoping we qualify!) and will then go on holiday before coming back for pre-season training mid-july to start contract talks. I can see it now. I don't need a crystal ball for that!

    I think the cracks are beginning to appear now at Chelsea. If Lampard is messing about with contract negotiations then there is something seriously wrong. I think we will be overtaking them this season.
    Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

    Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

        He'll be 30 by the end of next season,no way will they give him a massive contract of 100,000 plus then.

        He makes me sick that "he love chelsea and has such a desire to stay" but yet he hasnt signed...bull****

          Totally reeks of the Owen saga. I bet he thought last summer when it was mooted he might leave for Barca 'I'll give it another season, can't really leave now in the prime', but now that they had such a ****e season with ****e footie and pretty much no trophies and overtaken by the Scum and next to no decent signings and lots of injuries etc., he might just think 'Imma stall this whole thing out til 2008, then say 'Couldn't reach an agreement, sorry, fans and everyone' and ****off to Barca for a fat pay-check and special rectum surgery.

              yes it does reek abit doesnt it.

              i get that they want to do these things and can understand the lure of other clubs etc but what i hate is the oooh i want to stay bull**** before ****ing off

                  After next this season just one more year left on his contract.

                  I dont think he'll move this summer but could one of the "shock" transfers before the end of the window.

                  If not then next summer will see him hit Spain

                    Lampard moving to Barcelona.I dont think Espanyol will be able to afford his wages.
                    I seriously doubt Barcelona are interested in his services. They have Dos Santos and Bojan Krkic, two highly talented kids who are making noises about lack of first team opportunities.How many more attacking midfielders do they need.
