I agree, he's been in this country for 6 months now and scored what about 5 goals last season, he's good but he ain't that good, as centre forwards go i'd rather have Crespo or RVN in my team, guaranteed 30 goals a season from each, you won't get that from Tevez. We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

For me Ronaldo is still the best finisher in football today, he has continued his form in fornt of goal for Milan.

not a red.
Think you're missing the point here ronan. Kitson wasnt CHOOSING where to catch Evra, he wasnt even deliberately catching him, he was trying to block the ball. However, it was only the fact that evra's foot was off the ground, that mean he got caught around the ankle area, rather than the shin or calf area. Had his foot been on the ground, he would've probably broken his leg.
Definite red, reckless and dangerous challenge.
Take off the anti-ManU specs
If it had happened to one of our lot, we'd be going mental.

i think he's better than crespo yes with crespo not being the same player he was 3-7 years ago, and i think he's on par with messi, for some reason i don't like messi all that much, he's a cracking player but i can't stand him, the little primadona, i also thinl messi has a long way to go befoe reaching his potential, he's nowhere consistent enough, he has cracking games and then he has games where he's **** and won't pass the ball, and keeps going at it by him self, and this will in the future create massive friction with in his team. i don't think tevez has the same natural ability to beat a player as messi, but he's allot stronger and scores more goals, i think tevez' right foot is better than messi's left, i think they are on par when you look at what they bring to their team...Originally posted by ronan View Postyou think he's better than crespo or even messi? or rooney?
he's not.
whatever about potential ,at this moment he is not better than any of those players.
as for rooney, i think you english massively overrate him. he proved to me last season something that i have always thought that he will never become one of the best strikers in the world.i think he's a good player, but i think for example torres is better, for me rooney hasn't lived up to what he was hyped up to be good player and all but no 30 mill for me. i think right now tevez is better, and if you give him a couple of years in that squad he will become light years ahead of him. rooney also needs to loose a few pounds, his weight will start to affect his pace. i think tevez is able to be the best in the world, i don't know if that will be as good as henry a few years ago, but i think he will rival eto'o, kaka, messi and ronaldinho in being the best in the world in the years to come..."I have decided to escape, to defy the shogun. thats all well and good diego but you said he is the best in the world now.
how can you say a player who has only played for 6 months in a league of any standard and scored just 7 goals in 27 appearances is the best player in the world?
lets have this arguement again in 12 months time.
ps im not english.Parry is a clown. En Rafa que confiamos

Rooney is also very injury prone and Tevez is more or less never injured, that is also one thing you need to count.
If Rooney gets one or two injuries like the ones he got then he won't be that much better than he already is.
Injuries plays a big part to if a player can reach his full potential or not.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Tevez dominated in the Brazilian and Argentinian leagues and he dominated in the PL as soon as he was moved to play in his best position, centre forward.
Pelé only played in Brazil and the US leagues but he is considered to be the best ever player together with Maradona. He was a great player but we really don't know if he would have been a success in Europe. That is one example that shows that you can be a great player even if you don't play in Europe.Just believe and you never know what will happen.

i never said he was the best in the world, i said he was amongst the best in the world and has the potential to be the best. however as much as i loved the lad, i so want to be wrong, i wish that he ****es up royally and that i make an ass of myself and my opinion, so i hope in 12 months time when we resume this argument it will be slagging me of cause tevez was ****e for themOriginally posted by ronan View Postthats all well and good diego but you said he is the best in the world now.

to be fair to the turd that 'now posh, but i still lost my virginity to a ladyboy' Pele. the Brazilian league in those days was one of the best leagues in the world, where all of their best players played at home...Originally posted by AFII View PostTevez dominated in the Brazilian and Argentinian leagues and he dominated in the PL as soon as he was moved to play in his best position, centre forward.
