    Sneijder to Real, confirmed

Real Madrid agree deal with Ajax for Sneijder

MADRID, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Ajax Amsterdam have accepted a 27 million euro ($36.98 million) offer from Spanish champions Real Madrid for midfielder Wesley Sneijder, the Dutch club said on Sunday.

Real confirmed the move, saying the 23-year-old Netherlands international, who has played 180 matches and scored 57 goals for Ajax, would sign a five-year contract with the club.

Sneijder, capped 35 times by the Netherlands, is the fifth new player to sign for Real in the close season following centre backs Christoph Metzelder and Pepe, goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek and striker Javier Saviola.
Fellow Dutchman Royston Drenthe is expected to join Sneijder at the nine-times European champions.
The 20-year-old left back arrived in Madrid on Sunday and is expected to complete a move from Feyenoord after undergoing a medical on Monday morning.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

He is well worth the money IMO. He is one of the best playmakers you can get and he can also play as a right or left sided winger.

                  Excellent signing by Real.

30 mil for drenthe and sneijder. lots in my opinion. i do think sneijder is very very good though. drenthe on the other hand is just a dickhead. babel is much better

I thought Valencia were going for him.

Anywho, where are Real and Schuster going to fit all these players in the team?
