Sevilla have had the most convincing start, aside from the whole Puerta affair though. Even if Alves leaves, I think Sevilla will be there or thereabouts, same with Barca and Real - not much between those three, I don't know what to make of Valencia - lots of changes there.

Sevilla didn't play any good until Getafe got a man sent off and when they got a second red card then the match was over.

Sevilla won't have any chance without Alves.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Didn't see the game. Alves, as good as he is, doesn't make the team.

Well, they have built their team and tactics to suit him.

And it looks like they are not going to let him go. Seems like once he is past the temper tantrums he will be back to his best (i.e. 15+ assists and 5+ goals)

Don't they have the best right winger in La Liga?

Well alves out performs Navas week in week out. Joaquin has upped his performances recently, so I'm not sure that it is still valid to call navas "the best!"

Well, Alves don't play on the right wing, Navas does. Alves is the best right sided player in La Liga and Messi the best right winger even that he cuts inside a lot so it's doubtful that you can call him a winger. If you want me to name the best out and out right winger in La Liga then Joaquin gets my vote.

I thought Navas was the best right winger in La Liga? Or was he the best young winger? Anyway, I'll give Juande Ramos enough credit to adapt his side play if/when they lose Alves.

****ing referee, just given the goal for Barca though the ball never crossed the line. What's wrong with the referees lately? ****ing ****s!
