Granted Milito is a good signing but Abidal? He is one of the most over rated left backs in the world. He's the Bramble of left back- great physically but no brain, like Cisse

They have signed Abidal and Milito who will improve their defence significantly and the only place they are currently inferior to Real is their keeper. If it hadn't been for a lengthy Eto'o injury, they would have walked the league last season.

I don't think Madrid were lucky, its just that Barca were poor. If you look at Real before they played Barca in February I believe, they were shocking. Barca just lost the plot at boardroom level, dressing room fights, inept tactical decisions- they had just lost it. Real and mostly a very unlucky Capello capitalised on it. Two poor teams last season but you got to say it was a great finale.
