      Just an added point, there seems to be quite a few of these heart related deaths surrounding players during games. Anyone remember Marc Foe (played for Man Citeh) dying on the pitch playing for Cameroon a couple of years ago? And there have been other examples. Should this be happening?

      It's a pretty common heart defect amongst 16 - 28 year olds trouble is you don't get chest pains and the only way to detect it is through a scan. We set up a charity to get all young kids over here screened for free we've already helped a few kids who had heart defects and didn't know about it.

      Until some famous people died of it doctors haven't really looked into the causes but they have now. BBC 3 did a documentary about it and used my mate as a case study.

        Nice work there. Shame there had to be deaths for it to get studied.

              RIP I am very shocked at this. Went to work thinking he would pull through.
              I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

                      I actually can't believe it. He was one of my favourite players, completely devastating news. Especially with his wife expecting a baby and other things. I'm really sad about this.

                      To think it was just 1-3 months ago I was saying that if we signed him he's solve all of our left flank problems (left back and wing) and how he'd be a great signing. I loved watching him at Sevilla, seemed a great guy. Now he's gone, I can't believe it. At 22.
