Was a good finisher. Good luck to him but I do hope he has a constant pain in his knee every day for the rest of his life.

Anyone who says Ole Gunnar was a dirty player needs a head examination and a reality check.

A real ambassador for football and a great player.

Yes he did bring the Newcastle player down deliberately, but like you said, he did it to win the game and went straight off the pitch knowingly what he did was a red. How can that be a dirty player, we would have applauded if he was ours.
Nonsense. It was cheating. Unsporting behaviour. It was disgusting, player clean through on goal and the dirty manc was atleast 10 yards behind the ball. Everyone watching knew he had no chance so he hacked Rob Lee down. It was disgusting

No i would not have applauded any liverpool player doing that. But then i have never seen a liverpool player do something like that.

It was clear as day and truly disgusting

I saw neil ruddock do it and applauded like ****, not as much as I applauded in that reserve game though where he broke BOTH of andy coles legs with one foul

                      FLMAO!

You've never seen a liverpool player hack down a player?

Gerrard, Ruddock, Wright, Souness, etc etc. All done worse than this incident.

Yes it was clear as day, and it was deliberate, but not to injure, to stop a goal and win the game. It was not a sporting thing to do, but one incident of his whole career, name anything else he's done that's been unsporting or dirty.

He did show a lack of ambition IMO. He played about as much as a sub keeper does. If he had been a sub keeper of that quality and been happy to scrape enough appearances each season to pick up a winners medal, I would have said he lacked ambition. Fact is he was never going to make it as a regular starter and he just accepted it. Any footballer wants to play, he should have moved to another top side and really tested himself, see if he could make it as a key player in a big team. he got comfortable at Man U and lacked the bottle to really push himself elsewhere. Still he always seemed a likelable sort and was a classy finisher, that is for sure.

one question, does crouch lack ambition since he hasn't started in any of the 3 league games so far?

Strange how Ferguson and his teammates applauds Solskjaer for his determination, professionalism and his ambition.

You don't stay at United for 10 years if you lack ambition.

It's only three games so far though isnt it, and he has been trying his best to keep it quiet but there have been numerous stories about him having meetings to discuss his future, so yes Crouch has showed ambition.
