Or are you trying to say that the buy out clause is only valid if another Spanish club comes in for him? If so then that is bollocks mate. Only today Graham Hunter was on sky talking about how the buyout clause works. ANY club can match the buyout clause and they send the money to the Spanish FA who in turn contact the club and the player. Then the player decides if he wants to join the club and if he does the contract is ripped up and the Spanish FA send the money to the selling club.

Probably because he can't afford to pay the barber. £2m is a lot of money and Alves is greedy but I would not be surprised if he puts in a transfer request before the 31st as a last gasp attempt to force through a move
