    Your best match ever?

Seeing as I'm only young it has to be our 2-1 win against Italy! I was sat behind the goal where Bellamy snatched the Winner, what a game and what a night!

i was on the half way line, front row behind the commentators.

we put our welsh flag behind the two italian commentators at full time when they were fliming, lets say they weren't too happy with us

1-1 draw with argentina was fairly decent too.

Italy was my favourite, but i also enjoyed the 4-0 whooping of Scotland, scottish fans were brilliant that night.

The Argies match for me was when Bellamy made it as an International footballer, He was absolutely fantastic that night!

The Italy game was a special night I was at the end where Simon Davies scored in the first half. And I was looking strait down the middle on Gabbidon’s pass to Hartson and his pass for Bellamy to score. We thoroughly deserved to win that night.

I agree that the Argies game was a decent match as well, I think that game was the one that gave to Welsh players the confidence that they could have a good result against the top teams in the world.

Surprisingly the one game I enjoyed was the 4-0 win against Azerbaijan!! The reason – we stayed down in Cardiff for two nights and had a great weekend!!! At the time that win put us top of the group with 12 points and to see a sell-out there to watch a game against Azerbaijan just showed how good we were doing then, it’s just a shame we couldn’t carry it on!!

I was there then too Ian - fantastic occasion!

Sparky's acrobatic goal in our win against Spain at the Racecourse was also a match I'll never forget - although I was sat behind a pillar and missed Sparky's goal!!

That was the best and worst game for me.

Best for the performance and result - I was sitting in line with the 6 yard box on the side where Bellamy scored the winner (nothing wrong with the third goal either).

I was also the worst game for me because the wife had been in hospital in the week before the game but came home on the day before. I made the decision to go down for the game but got a phone call from my mother-in-law at half time telling me that she was unwell again. I got some serious abuse for going down to Cardiff and didn't really enjoy the post-match celebratory pints before catching the bus home.

The Romania game in 1993 was a sickener as well. I thought we were on our way to the USA, even after Bodin missed the penalty.

Remember you beating Germany 1-0 Rush got the winner and Klinnsmann nearly ripped the shirt off his back at the final whistle. Germany may have even been world champions. I think it was about 1990/91

Proper feelgood factor for Welsh football around that time. Until the Romania game that is...

Where is Terry Yorath these days?
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.
