In someway it fits this summers most silly transfer that never happened.

3-1 to the Italian cheating *******s.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did anyone else cringe when Seedorf did his 'tribute' to Puerta as he came off ?

It just didn't sit right with me. Looked really forced like, "look at me".

              Clarence likes attention
I haven't see it mind you.
But Seedorf is usually damned pleased with himself and loves to give interviews and get in the spotlight. Very annoying
Every year at their Christmas party he grabs the mike and hogs the spotlight for Karaokes, and every chance to give interviews on Milan channel, he does. Mind it could just be that he's ultra friendly - he's nice to fans I know that. But he can get inappropriately "oi look! I am cool"

I thought Milan were going to throw this one actually. Surprised they didn't
Proud of Ambro who said the game shouldn't have gone on though.

BTW, AF, looks like neither del Nido nor Alves were telling the truth... still don't like either of them but at least Alves played.

                  Nothing much.

He was subbed off and insisted on taking off his shirt (which took ages) and holding it aloft pointing to the 'Puerta' on the back as he walked off with all the cameras on him.

Maybe other people read it differently, but I personally cringed.

He was on strike for Milans second - awful awful defending - ball watching at its finest.

They fit each other perfect. The Alves transfer must be the longest transfer soap ever. Three years and counting.

He has said during that time how much he loves Liverpool, Chelsea, Milan, Real Madrid and Barcelona and Del Nido has agreed so many deals for him that I have lost count on them.

As I said, a perfect match.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Yeah they deserve each other for crying out loud...

Glad the Supercup was about Puerta and not the "saga of alves and his nestiness" though

                          hmmm just saw it
it's pretty mild for Clarence actually tbh.
especially since palop was getting treatment.
more like time wasting on purpose.
