Quite funny when you think this is their start:

    v Reading (H) 0-0
    v Pompey (A) 1-1
    v City (A) 1-0 loss
    v Spurs (H) 1-0 win
    v Sunderland (H) 1-0 win

Don't think they have had a much more difficult start - about the same infact. Also they have had favourable pen decisions instead of the invented one against us.

They were without their best two players - Rooney and Ronaldo - and looked absolutely ****ing rubbish.

Without our two best players - Gerrard and Carra - we were absolutely awesome.

We were both playing against newly-promoted sides and only one of us looked like title material.

Early days, but things are looking very ****ing rosy indeed.

Thanks you for taking my original post in the context it was meant.

Yes it's too early to win the league today, we have no idea what may happen down the road, blah blah blah....

I said we looked great without 2 of our top players and without 2 of theirs Manure looked like... well... MANURE!!!!

I would feel better if they had lost or drawn the last two. They played abysmally against Sunderland and got a result. They will be better and soon.

That said, we have kicked ass this season and proved beyond doubt we are not a one man team. This was important for us psychologically and may now make Gerrard's injury a positive for us - which we could never have imagined in a previous season.

Our strength in depth is different class to in previous seasons.
