Thinkpeople need to take Arsenal seriously this season, look a totally different team to last season.

So we have, but Chelsea and United struggled to beat the promoted teams they faced, both at home, while we've blown both away.

The biggest test yet will come after we've got Pompey, Birmingham and Wigan out the way. Think it's Spurs, Arsenal and Bitters after that.

Great thing is that we are now in the driving seat ( i know only 4 games), if we can grind out the results then we have the best chance, the rest (apart from Arsenal) need us to drop points now.

My dad said today that someone he knows bumped into Wenger recently, and Wenger said things along the lines of:

The stats of last season, in terms of shots, domination of games etc were BETTER than that of the season they went un beaten, they basically just didnt put the chances away..

I saw that, he also said our first choice back line played against Arsenal in the Carling cup, that being Warnock - Hyypia - Palleta - Peltier

Awesome result Villa!

The league is still young and many teams are in the hunt for the run up to Christmas -

Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle, Blackburn and Manure although I only see arsenal and Manure as serious contenders.

I really want us to face our top rivals now and really see how we play as a team against them. Especially old whiskey nose!
