I pray to god every day that they will end up like Leeds! Then their already mini fanbase, will reach rock bottom (i.e. a couple of hundred Chavs at Stamford bridge every two weeks and they'll be waving those cheap ass flags they got when playing Porto in the Champions' League).

Their scouts are pitiful! Unlike Chelsea, Rafa is building an empire slowly and with style. Mourinho and that Abramovič **** tried (and are still trying) to build Rome in one day. Not a chance.

If Mourinho was smart, he would look up to Rafa and try to do things his way. But being an arrogant prick he is, he will always stay dumb and eventually get his arse kicked out of London.

Jose is just wants to be sacked so he can get his money, he wont leave, he'll want his 15 million in compu.

Anyways he knows he'll walk into any job in Europe

I get the feeling that he wants his compo which is something like 15 million, things he has said in press conferences that he was making sure that he wants to stay and loves Chelski and if anything happens its the boards fault

On The Sunday Suppliment they were describing him as the best manager of his generation, better than Fergie (as he is so old?) and Wenger - no mention of Benitez.

                      Seriously? Hahaha. Thick ****s.

He's a good manager but he's seriously lacking, IMO, when you compare him to "the other three".

Maybe I'm biased but I think Benitez is the best.

If I had to place "the other three" in order, without Rafa, it'd be:

                      Wenger
                      Ferguson

                      Mourinho

Ferguson may have won a lot more than Wenger but Arsene's done it on a much, much tighter budget and has revolutionised the game a great deal more than Purple Face ever did.

Tactically, Wenger is a touch suspect as he only has one way of playing and never has a Plan B. Ferguson is, frankly, slightly inept tactically.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

By the way, I think this makes our result at Villa on the opening day look great.

That and the fact that only the moronic Rob Stiles could stop us beating Chelski puts an even better light on our start to the current campaign.
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

last i read they were horrifically in the red, losing tens of millions every season because of their wages and buying policy. romans billions cover that up nicely though

i have noticed that roman has tightened the purse strings lately, maybe he's sick of overpaying for ****e footy and watching a team of ******s
The more I think where I saw/heard that I'm convinced I saw an interview on SkySports, I didn't make it up anyway

I'm sure it was towards the end of last season, when whoever it was being interviewed, was exlaining that the big spending was being curbed slightly as all the good work by Kenyon and the rest of the behind the scenes people had finally got Chelsea into a position where they were self-sustainable ( it must have been on the telly otherwise I wouldn't know what 'self-sustainable' was )

However this might have been total bull**** from them. I'm sure you lot will know a lot more about it than me
No, no, no.........I'm only scary 'cause I'm hairy

Big year for me 2008, hope it all goes well for me, oh, and you lot too!

Roman didn't allowed them to sign Alves before they had sold Robben. They sold Robben but then Sevilla turned down their bid for Alves.

A year or two ago they would have paid what the club wanted for him, like they did when they signed Drogba, Sheva and Essien for example.

Not signing Alves was a clear point to that they won't pay way over the odds for a player anymore.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Not sure about Wenger not having a Plan B now, I think with Adebayor, Wenger tends to go more direct when things aren't going there way. As for Fergie being tactically inept, I agree. He has one ideology and one ideology only, attack. Is it me or does it seem like he steals other teams formations as well? He tried that 4-3-3/4-5-1 system and it didn't work and he tries to switch wingers like Houllier did when Kewell first came to the club.
