Now that gormless tw@t Eriksson has taken his dreadful management technique and his hilarious hairstyle far away from the England team, I'm actually looking forward to seeing McLaren's team play tomorrow. I was away for the Greece game so tomorrow will be my first viewing.

Like most people, McLaren wasn't my first choice as England coach but so far - he's made some excellent decisions IMO and I for one am prepared to give him a chance.

Anyway - here's to a good performance - and a decent win to set the qualification process underway.

But sometimes it doesn't work like that. Liverpool have played some utter ****e in recent times (TNS) and 3-0(?) could have been construed as a failure

Agreed.
Just seeing as England thrashed Greece and with the McLaren feelgood factor I was getting wildly optmistic there!
