    Arsenal

Dark horse of this season? theyd be on maximum pts hadnt it been for Lehmanns howler @ Ewood. And i noticed the odds hasnt changed much despite their brilliant start. I have a feeling with their young players having another year under their belts and if they keep van persie fit, they'll be challenging imo.

what do you think? ill try and add a poll

They need more steel IMO. They'll lose/draw games they shouldn't because they'll be outfought.

Nah. They'll start losing games away from home sooner rather than later - three of their four in the league so far have been at home.

Tough one, thought they'd struggle to be honest, battling it out for 4th with Spurs. They've started well, but they have played three home games, and agains smaller teams too.

They could challenge next year though IMO

For me they need maybe one more leader on the pitch and a midfielder who carries the ball from defense into attack even when the other team are being physical and doing the traditional two banks of four trick against them.

I do think that they will do well though and that all of the top four will be close at the end of the season.

Good team but haven't got the strength in depth. They'll have to be incredibly lucky to avoid injuries this season if they're going to challenge.

Arsenal is a good team imo, but not the best and certainly not a team that will challenge for a title this season. They will start losing points, because they have holes in defence (Senderos :whatever: etc.) + they DO NOT HAVE A LEADER! Fabregas is too young to be one, while Rosicky and Hleb are just happy to run around.

I don't think you can write this young Arsenal side off tbh.
They have great quality and in Fabregas a player that just keeps getting better and better.
However if they were to lose Toure, Febregas or Van Persie for a while they'd be screwed.
Prediction: no title but if they keep going the way they are you just never no.
Only a fool would write them off completely.

They can challenge for the title. They most probably wont, mind...

Their away form will be their downfall.

Soon as they get a few injuries and play away from home and get a good kicking, you'll soon see cracks with the team. In defence, Gallas and Toure- first choice and then you have Senderos (I'd fancy my chances against him) Midfield looks to lightweight besides Gilberto and too narrow at times and strikers are a hit and miss when it comes to converting chances. Like to see more of that Eduardo though.

at home they will be strong, but away from home they will struggle.
Maybe one or two players short.
