Who doesn't?!?! I backheel for a goal almost every week.

So what if I'm the keeper.
Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

Not only an excellent footballer, but a top bloke as well. Pretty much as soon as he signed for Milan he got seriously injured and he refused to accept his wages by Milan until he got fit - don't often see that kind of gesture by professional footballers

Obviously has morals beyond what many can comprehend

Presumably he had already made a lot of money through the game & felt "off" about picking up an outrageously high wage for not doing what he had been hired / recruited to do - not sure if he had even played for Milan before suffering this career threatening injury

Wonder if it ever crossed Michael's mind to do the same

What I admire about a sentiment like that is it shows the integrity of the fella - he feels he has to earn his money, and if he doesn't earn it he won't accept it. A very rare quality today, certainly amongst footballers.

                  About 2.5 mins into this...Jan Molby's goal v Norwich c.1992.
I was in the kop that day with my mate who was a norwich fan. Just the best goal I've ever seen.
