      Romario on acid

      A legend
"I have decided to escape, to defy the shogun. Today I will begin walking the road to hell. But you will choose your own path. So, soon you may be seeing heaven. Choose the sword, and you will join me. Choose the ball and you join your mother, in death. You don’t understand my words, but you must choose. So… come boy, choose life or death."

          Friendlies

I've probably scored 1,000 goals in my time. Bestow honour upon me.

              "1988-1992 PSV Eindhoven 167 (165)"

              WOW. That's a hell of a ratio.

Saw him play for Vasco against Fluminense earlier this year. Didn't move around much! The crowd still loved him though.

Most beautiful player ever? Romario's not ugly, but I don't think he had the ladies fainting at the mere sight of him.

Friedenriech scored 1239 goals in his career. There are a few others that scored over a thousand as well, I just can't remember who they are.

Don't think so, pretty sure they were people that I've never heard of. I think there was four in total. There is a missprint somewhere on the web that says Friederriech got 1329 goals, which puts him ahead of Pele, but it should be actually 1239 goals in 1329 games. I can't remember where I go that from though, but I do remember having a long pedantic discussion with someone about it before. It was fun *coughs*.
