We'd certainly give you a better game than what we would have done in recent years but as a team we're still someway off the quality that England have. We can take alot of positives from where we are now though.

When our group was drawn out of the hat I never once thought that we'd e in this position with 3 matches to go.

Mcfadden is a different player, when he plays for Scotland (Fletcher too).

I find it odd that those two stay where they are. I guess I can see that Fletcher feels he might never get the opportunity to win top honors if he left United but McFadden definitely has more to offer then he shows at Everton. He would probably get more starts at a lot of other clubs too and with Yakubu coming in his chances will be even more limited.
