Thanjk you.

Expect him to by applying for coaching jobs around Christmas time.
He's so old school it's painful. I hate to say it but the longer he stays in charge the more likely it is that Bolton get relegated. In fact I will go as far as to say that if he is still manager post Jan, Bolton will go down.
Legend for Liverpool but clearly hopeless as a manager
I think it is a bit early to judge. Alladyce left Bolton at the right time if you ask me, the squad was aging and had gone as far as it was going to go. Lee has tried to rebuild and change the style which was always a big ask for his first job. I admit that he hasn't started well but I think he deserves until 10-15 games in to see if he can make any improvement.
My impression is that he may be a better coach or that at least he needs a good defensive minded assistant (no disgrace as Fergie has relied on Kidd, McClaren and Queiroz at times to balance out his own limitations - part of being a good manager is knowing when and what to delegate). I think there have however been flashes of really good football from them this season though which gives me hope that he might do something with them.

Long serving manager quits, some young gun comes in, makes a few "interesting" signings, bombs out and gets binned before Christmas.
Don't like seeing an ex-Red legend failing, but I don't really like Bolton either.
My dislike of Bolton has completely vanished now Allardyce has gone. I'd forgotten that I used to quite like them a decade or so ago, but Allardyce's motely crew ruined that.
Hope Sammy turns it round, but I've little or no confidence that he will.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I really rate Alladyce and think he did a great job and partly as a reaction to everyone else hating them I have softened my stance on them. I used to hate them when they had Colin Todd as manager and when they bought a seemingly unending stream of Scandinavian no marks to the PL. They seemed to epitimise an era of British football when clubs seemingly bought foreign players because it was the fashion with no discernible quality control.

You're far too fickle Shaggy
In fairness, I can see my dislike of Bolton slowly switching to the barcodes. The thing that annoyed me about Bolton, apart from Fat Sam, was that they always signed up the ***** of football (Anelka, Diouf etc) and they were always a dirty ugly team.
Okotcha was the exception, man, he was a fine player.
It's players like Kevin Davies that pissed me off

I had a feeling Sammy Lee wouldn't cut it as manager. I feel bad for him as he's such a genuinely nice bloke. At least if he fails as manager he will still be very highly sought after as a coach by the majority of premiership sides.
He's a top coach but I don't think may people expected him to do well as a manager. There was certainly a few eyebrows raised when he was given the job.
I think he'll be gone soon because I really can't see him turning it around.
yeah, it strikes me that he is very good at being told to motivate the troops and get them running round doing training exercises, but when it comes to running the show he is completely lacking, bless him.

To look at him on the sideline he just doesnt look like a Manager he wears a suit thats about 10 times the size of him and looks silly
note this doesnt make him a crap manager its just an observation
When you feel like you're done, you are not alone........
