Sources at Stamford Bridge claim Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has lost his job. It is not yet clear whether the Portuguese tactician was sacked or whether he left of his own accord.

You can be full sure he didnt walk IF this is true.......Jose wants all the money he's owed which is something like 15 million in wages if he's sacked.
In the papers tomorrow Roman is distraught that the club is turning into a laughing stock with only 24,000 turning up last night and the team cant score
Putin for manager
When you feel like you're done, you are not alone........
amazing - short termism gone mad! He might be a whinging git but his teams get results. Winning the Premier League twice and losing [narrowly] 2 semis in the CL ain't bad but Roman obviously wants style as well as substance. WHo's next for the job? My bet would be Hiddink but I wouldn't bet he'd last more than a year or two.
In my opinion this is a grave error by Abramovich

It was her birthday.
Would I have got married during the football season ?
Anyway, it was Rochdale reserves.'
The rumour that manager Jose Mourinho had left Chelsea on Wednesday night brought carnage to the press room as journalists ran around trying to confirm the scoop and decide whether or not to run with it in Thursday morning's newspapers.
The talk amongst the hacks indicated that Mourinho informed an unnamed Chelsea player of his decision to leave the London club after training, the player then texted a member of the media with the news, which prompted calls to Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon, who denied he had heard any news on the subject.
Mourinho's rocky relationship with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is public knowledge - the current spat about playing/not playing Andrei Shevchenko is often in the headlines - and has made the rumour easier to swallow. But red faces could await in the morning.
we can only hope eh? wonder who chavs would get lippi? capello? rijkaard?

For some perverse reason I hope this isn't true. It's been a more interesting game with Mourinho around, plus beating the Chavs with that **** in charge is all the more sweeter. but like spud says, if true it couldnt happen to a more deserving person
