As far-fetched as that request might be, Abramovich's actions in the aftermath of the Rosenborg draw were equally bizarre. In front of the entire Chelsea team, but while Mourinho was occupied with press conference duties, the Russian billionaire decided to hand out an impromptu tactics lesson to Michael Essien.

It's what we were all hoping would happen.

Roman deciding he would "have a bash at football management".

    Loving it.

Surely some of this can't be true, i'd love to see some of the reaction from the chav fans to this, i know this place would go into meltdown if that happened here and rightly so. However does abramovich even speak english, i've never seen him give an interview or anything like that. It does seem that this might be the downfall of the chavs, but of course withthat amount of money behind a team you can never count them out, looking forward to the match today tho.

If G&H would tell Rafa what to do then they can feck off to a hotter climate.

        That's just unacceptable.

        Luckely they don't do that.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I can't wait for the day the team line-up is announced with Abramovich partnering Shevchenko upfront.

I think they played well today, especially before they had a man sent off. It was always going to be difficult from that moment.

                            'Fantastic' final insult
LIFE AFTER MOURINHO: Now rivals queue up to deliver damning verdict
                            By John Cross 25/09/2007

Roman Abramovich delivered a humiliating dressing room put-down to Jose Mourinho, which was the final straw for the former Chelsea manager.

After the Blues' 1-1 bore draw with Rosenborg in front of just 24,973 fans at Stamford Bridge, Abramovich came into the dressing room clearly deeply upset and angry at his team's dismal performance.

Abramovich first shook Mourinho's hand, deliberately turned his back on the Portuguese boss and then said sarcastically to the players: "fantastic football."

It proved to be the final insult for Mourinho, who left the club just 24 hours later, as knew then that his relationship with the club's Russian owner had broken down completely.

if that's true then they really are in trouble. I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the chelsea dressing room, lets hope Abramovich picks the team and tactics against Hull!
