How would we feel if a player treated Liverpool like this, and Benitez came out and revealed the threats the player made?

We'd be delighted that the club/manager stuck up for themselves

On talksport they said he hedn't had a rsie in the 6 years he was ther, he was earning a quarter of shevechenko and ballack's wages, and a third of lampards wages.

If this is true then fair play to him (gallas) and it makes chelsea look like the classless chavs they are.

thats how i see it. The Majority of Chelsea fans are devastated at this, they know Gallas is one of the worlds best central defenders and most fans wanted a gallas/terry axis, this way they muddy his name and get the chelsea fans back on there side.

Same as if Gerrard left us and Benitez said its because he REFUSED to play on the right many would side with Rafa.

Chelsea sink new depths of patheticness on a daily basis, by the end of the season they will be the most despised club in the world,mark my words.

I suppose the difference is that we would never have let it get to that stage in the first case.

When Gallas asked to leave, Chavski issued statements that he was going nowhere; he just wasn't going to be sold. It was the bluntness of the way they handled it which was pathetic. That was the start of the whole thing unravelling.

The high earners like Ballack, Sheva, Chav John and fatcunt won't be bothered.

It's the squad players and first teamers on lower wages who may want a new contract/payrise who'll be left pondering.

Yeah but they are on long term deals. Gallas was due for a re-newal.

Mind you in a couple of years time it may be interesting to see what happens with those 2. But then again who can tell what will be going on at Chelsea by then.

thought they had clauses inseterted to make them equal highest paid players?

May be wrong.....thought the Chavfour were all on 135000 a week? only read it so probably crap
