ZZ scored two headed goals in the WC final.

    What has Messi won?

Messi doesn't reach ZZ to the knees yet.
Messi scored a header with his hand, beat that.

Ronaldo before the injuries especially when he was at Barcelona is easily the BEST player of my lifetime.

Rivaldo is most definitely another in the same mould and up there with the best of them. (in his prime) Used to love watching the Brazil team with Ronaldo and Rivaldo, and Cafu and RC tearing down the flanks.

no I didn't, he didnt do much of note in the first few months of the season and then away at werder I think it was or some other team he broke his metatarsal and was out for up to 3 months and as we saw close up, during his return he flattered to deceive and that was completely understandable given his fitness after such a long lay off....

a hattrick against real madrid and a great goal v getafe doesn't make a season in my eyes.

Can you imagine how good Messi could be in his prime?

It seems like he has been around for ages yet he is still very young.
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

from the 98 world cup to the champs league final of 2002 zidane was without doubt the greatest player in the world and imo up there with dalglish, el diego and pele.

his control, vision and general performances at euro 2000 left me breathless

and his volley in the champs league final is one of the best goals you'll see for perfect technique

Steven Gerrard for me, ahead of all the ****ers listed above, including Messi, Henry, Zidane, Ronaldihno. Gerrard can do what they do, but they can't do what he does ... Which is everything. There isn't a better player in the world anywhere than our own Stevie G.
