Well two very good attacking sides on show I think. I wish more football matches were like this!

still not a win at home for tottenham against a mid level side...
he'll be sacked by next saturday..."I have decided to escape, to defy the shogun. Today I will begin walking the road to hell. But you will choose your own path. So, soon you may be seeing heaven. Choose the sword, and you will join me. Choose the ball and you join your mother, in death. You don’t understand my words, but you must choose. So… come boy, choose life or death."

Same here. They've dropped another two points at home. They're third bottom - 6 points from 8 games.Originally posted by CharlieMansonsSquint View PostStill reckon he'll be sacked before they come to ours.
They've got the point in exciting, galvanasing circumstances but if it'd been 1-1 or 0-0, there'd be despair rather than the buzz they'll now be feeling.
Great comeback, but his time's still up for me - however harsh it might be on Jol.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Darren Bent £16.5m.
Paul Robinson in goal.
Defence all over the shop.
Zokora. Headless ****e chicken.
They've spent more than us and Arsenal in recent years.
Deserves the sack if you ask me.
They might be a nothing club, but a bottom 3 side? Christ even the people's big gay leader would sack their ginger chosen one.I hate Polanski

Only think it's harsh cos the Spurs board are just as culpable as he is for making what was a not-so-bad situation into a very bad one. They're a small-time board with delusions of grandeur.
Allegedly that Damien Comolli bought Bent, not Jol. They've undermined him in more ways than one.
That said I think Jol's overrated and, although he's done a good job for two years, isn't good enough to take them any further forward. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Is anyone going to do any better? They can't topple the big 4, unless the Chavs implode.
Man Utd, Liverpool will always be in the top 4 and Arsenal will as long as Wenger is there.
Chavs will buy there place in the top 4.
Spurs would have to get one of the very top managers there is to consistently break into the top 5. 5th place is success for Spurs, it sounds crazy but that is the way it is these days.Originally posted by Gordon Brown

What Spurs need is a real captain on the pitch. Someone everyone looks up and listen to.
They need a Carragher or Gerrard type of player. Now when something goes wrong they just look at each other instead of someone taking some responsibility and decide that enough is enough and work his socks off and show how it should be done. Parker would have been an excellent signing for them.
A new keeper should also be high on the list.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

But they've outspent us and the arse in recent seasons and still, look at em, in the bottom 3 just now. With spending comes expectations.Originally posted by Red Chilli View PostIs anyone going to do any better? They can't topple the big 4, unless the Chavs implode.

Of course they won't finish in the bottom half, but with Man City, Blackburn and yes the ****in bitters, all likely to be in the mix for the Uefa cup places they are struggling to get into Europe in their current state.
Lets be honest about this how many of their players would you have with us? Berbatov? Maybe Bale? Yet they've spent all that paper.I hate Polanski
