Actually, if you've watched him over the last few seasons, it's fact not opinion.

He also has a big ego and thinks he is far better than he is,leading him to be far too casual.

You sadly consistently come across as a cock on here, and its mainly caused by posts like that. How can something so subjective be a fact? And how do you know how much he has watched him play over the last few seasons?

I don't know how much he has or hasn't watched them but the eyes don't lie. I'm not imagining all these things.

        Now **** off.

They do need a new CB I agree with you there. I think this has been a major problem for them when King is injured.

I actually think if they had a holding midfielder they would be transformed as all of their midfielders look uncomfortable defending but have to do a job. They score a lot of goals and freed from defensive duties more I think players like Jenas and Zakora would be a lot more effective for them.

I don't believe that their striking quartet is all it is made out to be. I like Keane and Berbatov looked good last season but now people know about him he looks pretty average. Defoe flatters to decieve but make a very good sub and may have improved but it is hard to tell when he gets so little game time. Bent is a good role player who can do a job for almost any team but he doesn't really fit their team style. It is a good quartet but actually I would prefer ours if given a choice.
Jol doesn't pick his own buys?

That's a ****ing disgrace. I'd have resigned if this is the case.

He went in to the job knowing they were using the European head coach + a director of football type system. Arnseson had the director of football role when he went in and he was replaced by Comolli who was previously Arsenals head scout or some such. I think Jol had a better relationship with Arnesen or at least more similar ideas on players but obviously he left for Chelsea.

We are pretty much the only country in Europe that gives the manager full control over signings. Its not common in world football. Jol would have been aware of this before taking on the job in the first place. Still it seems a crazy system to me and it resulted in Rafa leaving Valencia, so I suppose in an odd way we benefitted from it.

Yeah Arneson leaving was a big blow for them, IMO.

In fairness I think the Chairman should have some say in who he signs since it's his dosh but he should leave it mainly to the manager.

A lot of chairmen do have agood knowledge of the footy market and managers, as we know, make a lot of dud signings so a little input is fine but NEVER force a signing on a manager.

Keane drops to deep and the Berb just basically plays up front on his own, easy for the 2 centre defenders to defend against
