    Agreed, his family comes first.
But I'm fairly sure he won't get a hard time.
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

****ing hell, lets hope no one expects you to just "get on with it" if you suffer a loss in your personal life. Never been affected by grief then have you? And if you have then show some ****ing respect because not everyone gets affected in the same way. He deserves sympathy not mocking. His wife and he lost a child.

How dare he let that get in the way you watching your football team.

I'm surprised by this, this is unlike you, as judging by your posts in the library you sympathise with far less deserving causes.

At last someone who realises there are far more important things than football. Having seen numerous friends of mine lose babies through miscarriages and still borns, the grief carried is huge. My wife and I had a baby 3 weeks ago, on the same day, in the same hospital and in the next ****ing room, two of our best friends were going through the trauma of their second stillborn.

I cannot believe the lack of compassion on here from some.

Nah, Nicey would throw his toys out of the pram and say he's off never to be seen again......... oh wait a minute, that happened, didn't it?

Firstly, Spion, I agree.... in principle at least.

But then why is he playing for Man City? Surely he should need some time off from domestic football too? Or is being able to go straight home after the match (or training) the key issue? Surely not? They play away games and stay overnight, but he's been doing that with City.

                So why not Ireland?

You'd have to ask Stephen Ireland that mate.

Handled it like a man? How exactly does he do that? Not all men are non-crying hard men who act like they care about nothing.

God forbid you ever get in the same situation and need people to understand how you are feeling.

Some sense in a hard nosed world.

                        Football is only a game.

What the **** are you on about....maturity??? He lied instead of telling the truth. I am not questioning the fact he is upset which I am sure he is but all I said was why not act like man, speak to you manager and leave camp. No big deal if he does that.
