    Unfortunately Italy have already played Ukraine twice. Their last two matches are us at Hampden and The Faroe Islands at the San Siro.

    With France winning tonight they go two points ahead of us meaning that even if they lose in Ukraine next month we still have to beat Italy. No un-manageable but it's still certainly a tall order.

      My mistake. France are only one point ahead of us meaning that if, and it's a big if, the lose in Ukraine we only need a point against Italy.

                  I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06
