Van Persie seems to be injured after the match v. Slovenija. He fell awkwardly and injured his left leg (I think it was his left one).
Arsenal is officialy f*cked now
I'm far from convinced Arsenal are a one man team. Adebayor and van Persie do link up very well and I thought this early last season too but they have some solid attacking option still.
This might be the making of Walcott, you never know.
I always think it is a shame when talented players are taken out of the league by injury.

A shame perhaps as the lad is a very talented player (who Arsenal sorely missed at the end of last season) but anything that has the potential to **** up Arsenal's season gets my support

Van Persie out for a month
By Darren Lewis 19/10/2007
Arsenal's Premier League title bid was last night rocked by the news striker Robin van Persie will be out for a month with a knee injury.
The Dutchman, who has scored five goals in his last four appearance for the Gunners, could miss the Champions League game with Slavia Prague as well as key League games at Liverpool and at home to Manchester United.
The injury he picked up playing for Holland against Slovenia on Wednesday is a massive blow for Arsene Wenger, who has steered his side to 10 straight wins in all competitions.
Wenger said: "The early signs are he will not be able to perform for us in the next four weeks. It is a big blow.
"Robin is a striker, a supportive striker and important on set-pieces. We'll do the maximum to get him back."
The news was the only blot on a good day for the north Londoners in which record profits were confirmed to the club's AGM and the Gunners extended their year-long lock-down agreement to keep the club out of the hands of Uzbek Alisher Uzmanov.
The new agreement means directors will only sell their stake to "permitted persons" before April 2009 and have to give fellow board members 'first option' until October 2012.
However, there is a termination clause in the agreement in October 2010.
Director Keith Edelman said: "When we look through the shareholder register there are a number of people who would support the board come hell or high water. So we are bulletproof."
Wenger, meanwhile, had a commemorative statue of himself unveiled by his partner Annie in a surprise move.
The Gunners boss (left), who received a standing ovation from shareholders, revealed he believes that there will be a strong English contingent to his team in years to come.
He said: "We hope that in a few years we will have some very strong English players who can, of course, be a good mixture with players from abroad.
"We want to develop domestic players - especially after the result for England against Russia!"
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
