I'd love that over Houllier coming back but I just can't see it happening. To be honest I can see Stevie Coppell getting the job, he looked unhappy even after they won today, similar to how Maureen looked in 2004.

But if we can't have Jol then I'd prefare Houllier over anyone else

Coppell would probably do a good job alright. Knowing some of the players already will help.
Troussier? He's done a super job with some other teams. I think he should be very high on the list.

For me Houllier comes after them.

I'm being biased and I'll admit that. I want Houllier back because it would be special for me to support a team run by him again. I do think he could do a good job aswell.

Coppell is a good manager but I can't see us making much progress, Troussier the same.

If the news stories today about Jol not being in the list are just fabrication then of course snap him up ASAP.

Coppell has the right mentality to manage Ireland he can work with the kind of players we have and already has Doyle,Hunt and Long doing wonders for Reading the last few seasons
