His longest spell at any club was a mere 3 years at Vallecano.
I expect he'll just be taking it Juande at a time.

Why would Alves when he has the pick of all the top clubs in Europe go to Spurs??

Im sure he likes Ramos but he wont win anything with Spurs

Judging by the way the Sevilla Chairman Del Nido does transfer dealings, Ramos will have to sell White Hart Lane to bring half of Sevilla across.

Del Nido has threatened to make Tottenham pay the consquences for their behaviour in recruiting Ramos.

Daniel Alves is set to become Juande Ramos' first major signing for Tottenham.

The 24 year-old Brazil star played for Ramos at Sevilla and is lined up to move to White Hart Lane in a £15million deal.

Ramos, who arrived in London yesterday, has been promised a £40million transfer kitty by Spurs.

Alves was wanted by Chelsea in the summer but they refused to meet the £20million asking price.

But Alves, who can play in midfield or as a right-back, is now set to make his move to London to link up once again with the man who made him one of the hottest properties in world football

Why would they let him buy players and not Jol. Surely they will want to continue the Director of Football/Coach system?

Comolli: I'm in charge of Spurs transfers
                        tribalfooball.com - October 30, 2007

Tottenham sports chief Damien Comolli has declared he remains in charge of transfers, despite the arrival of new coach Juande Ramos.

Comolli said: "I'm 100% convinced that the technical director role works, 99% of the clubs around the world use that system, win trophies, win football matches. So it works.

"If the chairman and the board are not happy with what I'm doing, they'll probably ask me to leave. But 50 or 60% is about the club in the future, and 40% is about the club now. If they're not happy with what I'm doing, they'll ask me to leave.

"I'm not interested about this (Ramos') job. Juande is very competent at what he does, has a proven record of winning in style.

"As a scouting department, we have to come up with solutions which we take to him. If he's got a name, that's fantastic. Saves me a lot of trips. But if not, we have to come up with options."
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Did Ramos, work under the same system at Sevilla. I assume he did as that seems to be the norm in spain.
