    India 2-2 Lebanon

    Date 30 Oct. 2007 :
    India held Lebanon to a 2-2 draw in their Home match of the FIFA World Cup Asian Qualification Round I match played at PJN Stadium ,Fatorda ,Margao ,Goa today .India led 1-0 at the Half time mark through a goal by Sunil Chhetri in the 30th min.Mohd Ghaddar equalized for Lebanon in the 77th minute and then gave Lebanon a 2-1 lead through a Penalty in the 87th min.Bhaichung Bhutia equalized for India in the 90th minute of the match when he scored through a corner by Steven Dias.

    Scorers: India :Sunil Chhetri /30th Min & Bhaichung Bhutia /90th min,Lebanon :Mohd Ghaddar/77th min & 87th min.
    Cautions :Yellow Cards : Lebanon:Ali Yakub 65th min, Mohd Halawi 64th min

    Red Card: Subarta Pal /India /69th min.

    I met Bhaichung Bhutia when he was playing for Bury. He wasn't very good.

    Somehow I don't think either team will be in South Africa.

        Its a shame they aren't more Indians in football teams. Its either the bhajias and samosas or something wrong with the system

          Why are India so **** at sport? They have enough people to be good at one sport at least!!!! Where is the guy who used to play for Leeds play for now?
          I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

              Australia won?????????????????????????????????? They beat Sri Lanka in the final I might be wrong though.
              I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

                          I was correcting you, as India arent crap at all sports they have a fantastic Cricket team as as Chilli Man said Hockey as well
