    Stevie Nicol Misses Out Again

    Revs fall to Dynamo in MLS Cup 2007

    I have soft spot for Stevie Nicol, he was a great servant of the club. So from time to time I check up on the new England Revolution. Having lived in the US for 8 years and followed Major League Soccer closely while there, I know the league's not that great. But it would be nice for Stevie to coach his team to a chanmpionship. This weekend he missed out again, losing the championship game for the third year in a row.

    So, commiserations Stevie, better luck next year.

    If that was here he would be sacked by now.

    Seriously tho, he should look at coming back and plying his trade here to test himself. He doesnt have anything to prove over there now I dont think. Get back over here and find himslef a League 1/2 side and go from there.

      The REVS were 1-0 at ht but Houston came back stronger in the 2nd half and managed to score 2. NE came out flat in the 2nd half and paid the price. It was an entertaining match to watch.
      Too bad for CHICO but I'm with Glove, he should come back here to manage a small club and re-build himself.

              Unless he gets a job at a big club, which he wouldn't, he'd have to take a pay cut, have pay more tax and have a higher cost of living than over there.

                  I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06
